Dear Friends of Gilda's Club,

I am so pleased to announce that Gilda's Club Westchester has been awarded Charity Navigator's coveted 4-star rating. Charity Navigator is one of the largest online evaluators used by donors to assess the financial health, transparency, and accountability of nonprofits.

In previous years ratings focused on financial health only using information reported in the IRS Form 990. This year, they added “accountability and transparency” standards, using information from both our Form 990 and information posted on our website. They evaluate every charity using the following criteria: organizational efficiency, organizational capacity, accountability and transparency.

This top rating is a wonderful endorsement and a tribute to the hard work and efforts of our board and staff over the past several years. The rating will provide even greater confidence to donors who invest in Gilda's Club Westchester's mission and programs. We look forward to sharing this good news with our donors.
