"Gilda's Club is ...a unique meeting place to build friendships and hope. Free of charge, too, because you can't buy what goes from heart to heart."
--Joanna Bull, Founder, Gilda's Club Worldwide
Stop by, make a friend, watch a movie, hear a joke, and become part of our community. Some of our social activities include:
Potluck Suppers - Everyone brings a dish and shares stories, laughter and good times.
Movie Nights - We've got comfy couches for watching videos.
Games - You'll have fun at Bingo Night or test your skill at The Scrabble Zone, for example.
Joke Fests - Are you funny? Even if you're not, you can try to make us laugh.
PLUS… There's More
While you're taking care of your heart and soul at Gilda's Club Westchester, your family and friends can find a place here, too. And when you're finished with your cancer treatment, we'll still be here if you need us.
Family Focus: Your whole family can meet with our professional staff to discuss the things that, after a cancer diagnosis, affect you as a family.
Team Convene: Team Convene helps you gather your own personal support group--friends, neighbors, colleagues, relatives-- to manage practical, everyday matters such as getting a ride to treatment, walking the dog, or preparing family meals.
ph&d: This special membership category is for those who are living long-term with cancer, cancer survivors whose last treatment was more than one year ago, and family and friends who've had a cancer-related death. We've designed separate activities for ph&d members which may include:
Noogieland: Our children's program.
