For children who have cancer, or those with a family member touched by cancer, Noogieland is a designated space in the Clubhouse to call their own. Children's membership requires nothing more than signing up and coming in. In Noogieland, kids learn, play, care, and share, all the while supported by our professional staff and volunteers. Oh yes, and they'll find lots of fun activities, too. Just look:
Support Groups for Children & Teens: Here's a chance to talk about your feelings in an understanding and comfortable environment.
Interactive Play: Toys, games, and activities abound for children of all ages.
Family Time: Fun for the whole family and a chance to be with other families living with cancer.
Living With Loss: Groups for children or teens who've had a family member die from cancer.
Noogiefest: An annual Halloween party for children and their families.
Special Events: You won't want to miss such things as Backwards Night, Rock & Roll Night, Movie Night, Zoo Week, or Clay Night. And you'll want to be there for the "School's Out Party," the St Patrick's Day Party, the Friendship Party and more
At Noogieland, children and families can find fun and support separately and together, for as long as you need it, as often as you need it.
Please contact: Jen Scully, Children and Families Coordinator for information and how to volunteer.
